Conto alla rovescia per le Giornate Asecap 2023, in programma la prossima settimana a Istanbul. Numerosi e cruciali i temi sotto i riflettori

Edizione chiave, la numero 50, quella delle Giornate ASECAP di Studio e Informazione 2023 in programma a Istanbul dal 18 al 20 settembre, ovvero la prossima settimana (sui grandi temi ASECAP di quest’anno si vedano anche anche i nostri scorsi Magazine e Special Issue, tutti disponibili e scaricabili sul web a questo link). Il titolo: “Mobility: a right for citizens – how to ensure sustainable financing to provide inclusive and net zero mobility solutions? | Mobilità: un diritto per i cittadini. Come assicurare finanziamenti sostenibili che favoriscano soluzioni di mobilità inclusive e a emissioni zero”.
Dopo gli appuntamenti di Salisburgo (sicurezza) e Vienna (ambiente), ecco dunque il meeting di Istanbul, in Turchia, co-organizzato dal Segretariato ASECAP di Bruxelles di concerto con l’Associata turca ICA che gestisce il Ponte Yavuz Sultan Selim e il tratto autostradale Northern Ring Motorway.
L’evento affronta, tra l’altro, le seguenti tematiche: equità e accesso alla mobilità, finanziamento delle infrastrutture stradali, transizione digitale, sicurezza stradale, decarbonizzazione delle infrastrutture autostradali in linea con le politiche climatiche dell’Unione Europea, protezione dell’ambiente e conservazione della biodiversità, resilienza delle infrastrutture e gestione del patrimonio, innovazione nell’esazione elettronica del pedaggio, progetti di ricerca e sviluppo nel settore delle infrastrutture stradali.

Mobility: a right for citizens
ASECAP is holding its 50th Study & Information Days hosted by ICA (18-20 September 2023 in Istanbul) on the theme “Mobility: a right for citizens – how to ensure sustainable financing to provide inclusive and net zero mobility solutions?”. “Motorway companies will have to decarbonise their road infrastructures and make them resilient to climate change in order to be fully aligned with the EU Green Deal targets, the Fit for 55 package, including the new Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), and the new TEN-T Regulation”, ASECAP says.
The 50th ASECAP Study & information days focus on how to provide equal access to mobility services being a key point for social and economic developments; how can financing transport infrastructure help deliver on equity and efficiency; what good practices exist in this regard; what are the best ways to link funding to environmental and safety objectives as economic booster; what innovative financing tools will attract private funds to mobility infrastructure investments. Topics also address network efficiency and innovation to prepare credible decarbonization to reach the challenges set by the EU Green Deal, smart mobility strategy reinforced by the EU Climate Law and Fit for 55 in 2030 and UN Sustainable goals; Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM); Road Safety; resilience of the infrastructure, innovation in Toll collection; R&D road infrastructure projects.
